HomeMaster RGBCCT Module is a Modbus RS485-based extension for color and tunable white LED strip control. Designed to integrate seamlessly with HomeMaster MiniPLC and MicroPLC systems.
The HomeMaster RGBCCT Module is a smart RS485-connected lighting controller designed as an extension for the HomeMaster MiniPLC and MicroPLC platforms. It offers a powerful combination of RGB+CCT LED control, input/output flexibility, and local interface options—all within a compact DIN-rail mountable module.
Built around the ATmega32U4 microcontroller, this device features 5 PWM channels for full-spectrum RGBCCT LED control, allowing smooth dimming and color tuning. In addition, it includes 1 relay output, ideal for switching auxiliary lighting or controlling external devices, and 2 digital inputs, typically used for wall switches, motion sensors, or push buttons.
The front panel includes 2 tactile buttons for manual control and LED indicators to display the module’s status and activity—ideal for testing or local override. Communication is handled via RS485 using the Modbus RTU protocol, making integration with HomeMaster automation systems seamless.
As with all HomeMaster hardware, the module is open-source and fully programmable via Arduino IDE, giving developers and integrators the freedom to customize it for specific project needs.
